Get an eye test and car inspection at the same time

As of 1 July, thousands of drivers can check their eyesight on self-instructional test charts at Opus Bilprovning’s 80 inspection stations in Sweden. Customers who feel they need a more thorough eyesight test by an optician are offered a test in any Synsam store in Sweden. No fewer than three out of ten say they have difficulty reading road signs, yet less than half of those asked have their eyesight tested regularly.

“We work every day inspecting vehicles to ensure they are safe to use on our roads, and it’s just as important, if not more so, that drivers can drive their vehicles safely. By collaborating with Synsam, we can further contribute to road safety and Sweden’s Vision Zero initiative,” says Tord Fornander, Vice President and Operations Manager at Opus Bilprovning.
