Successful opening of Opus Group’s new office

On 24 August, Opus Group AB opened its new office on Basargatan 10 in central Gothenburg.

The new premises are perfectly suited for a growing, global company and are fully in line with the company’s new growth strategy. The aim is to double the size of the company within five years with sustainable profits through both acquisitions and organic growth.

Opus is now closer than ever to its partners, customers and suppliers. Many of them came to the inauguration.

– We would like to thank those of you who came – your good wishes mean a lot to us. Moving forward, we will now build on an operation that strengthens us, our partners, customers and suppliers, says Magnus Greko, VP Strategic Business Development.

Excellence cluster
Locating the Opus Group’s offices right at the heart of the western Swedish automotive cluster was a logical move for a leader in vehicle inspections. The cluster includes leading vehicle manufacturers, strong knowledge-based companies and innovative automotive industry research at places like Chalmers University of Technology. Importantly, Chalmers enjoys the highest standing among all of Sweden’s universities and colleges.

– As a leading company in our industry, we need to be where the expertise is, says Magnus Greko.

There is extensive collaboration within the cluster between companies, academia and the public sector.

– Here in Sweden it’s part of what’s known as the ”Gothenburg spirit”, and it emphasizes collaboration and shared success. We derive pleasure from each other’s new ventures and successes, which our inauguration so ably demonstrates, concludes Magnus Greko.
